We're confident in our workmanship, and we will stand by the work that we provide.

At Shine Dental, we believe that together we will achieve the smile you have always wanted. As a result, we offer all patients a limited dental warranty for the investment you have made in preserving your oral health.

The treatment recommended by us for your oral health depends on your individual condition. As a result, each treatment will be carefully customized after thorough diagnosis. It is imperative that you continue home care of your teeth and gums in addition to scheduling your routine dental cleaning and professional exams as recommended by our office.

Ultimately, the final ownership of your oral health rests on you. Long-term success of our treatment greatly depends on how sensitive you are to your oral health. But, if you hold up your part of the bargain, we'll uphold ours.

Therefore, we are proud to offer you the following guarantees:

Dental Sealant Guarantee

We will repair or replace sealants for a period of 2 years from the placement date if decay is discovered on the chewing surface after placement. The replacement sealant will be repaired at no charge with another sealant.

Your Responsibility:

You must keep the prescribed regular recall appointments (minimum 6 months) for routine professional exam, xrays and cleaning at our office.

Crowns, Bridges, Onlays, Porcelain Veneer Guarantee

We will replace or repair the same type at no extra charge to you for 5 years from the time it's cemented. If a veneered or onlayed tooth is damaged or decayed to the extent that a crown is necessary, the full fee originally paid for the veneer or onlay will be applied toward the crown. You will only pay the difference.

Your Responsibility:

You must keep the prescribed regular recall appointments (minimum 6 months) at our office. This does not include accidents, or willful damage to the prosthetics which could affect normal healthy teeth. Further, if gum or nerve treatments may be required on the covered tooth. If needed, they would require additional fees. To ensure the longevity of your porcelain veneers, you will be required to purchase a night guard. This will protect your investment and uphold our guarantee.

Composite Filling Guarantee

If the composite restoration fails, we will replace or repair it, at no charge, for the period of 2 years from the placement date. If the tooth breaks and requires a crown or onlay, we will credit the cost of the filling towards the crown or onlay.

Your Responsibility:

You must keep the prescribed regular recall appointments (minimum 6 months) at our office. This does not include accidents, or willful damage to the prosthetics which could affect normal healthy teeth. Further, if gum or nerve treatments are required in the future for the covered tooth, this would require additional fees.

Dental Warranty Does Not Include

  • Cash refunds for any treatment rendered.

  • A cash refund or credit for dental work rendered by another dentist, even if you live outside of the city or are unable to come to our office.

  • Failure or repairs resulting from accident, neglect, abuse, failure of supportive tooth or tissue structures, improper adjustments or improper dental hygiene.

  • Incidental or consequential damages, including inconvenience, lost wages or compensation for pain and suffering.

Factors That Void Limited Dental Warranty

  • Failure to follow periodic (minimum 6 months) dental visit as prescribed by our office for professional exam, xrays and recall appointments.

  • Failure to complete necessary dental treatments as prescribed by our office to prevent gum infection and tooth decay, which have a tendency to spread from tooth to tooth.

  • Failure to inform our office the need to change or cancel appointments at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shorter notice of change or cancellations will severely limit our ability to offer another patient their most preferred time.

All regular and replacement/repair treatment will have to be rendered in our office at 146 Provencher Boulevard or 2000-360 Main Street, by the dentist who provided the initial treatment.

We're committed to you and your health and making a difference in our community and abroad. We'd love to see you, so book your appointment today!
