While there are many different elements to Cosmetic Dentistry, such as whitening and dental implants, veneers are a very popular and esthetically pleasing way of getting that million dollar smile you've always wanted. Veneers are used on front teeth to remedy spacing, minor crowding, worn down enamel, chips and discoloration. They can also reshape crooked or misaligned teeth with minimal tooth reduction as the porcelain cemented to the front of the tooth can be extremely thin.

There are a few different variations of dental veneers. We have found that Composite veneers and porcelain veneers work best.

Composite veneers
These are created out of a tooth colored resin that is bonded directly to your tooth. This can be done in as little as one visit.

Porcelain veneers
These veneers are created out of porcelain which is a material that is very close that of your teeth. This veneer will often require 2 office visits. Visit 1 is to prepare your tooth by removing a small amount off the front. The next visit is to place the fabricated veneers.

This patient had staining which occurs from tetracycline and gaps. These veneers are made from porcelain and were placed in 2 office visits. He had 16 veneers to complete his whole mouth makeover! A remarkable difference.
